Rr Fender Mod

What I thought was a tailgating U-Haul truck towing a barn, turned out to be the massive stock tail light and fender.  So, to remedy this horror I bought another CB750 rear fender off ebay to modify, and a new tail light from Dime City Cycles. Here's the modification and install.

  1. Is that bent metal part that runs under the fender only used to mount the turn signals? I have a 77 cb750k and I am planning on doing this exact mod to it. Any details on mounting it would be greatly appreciated. Your bike looks great

Also, I can't tell when this site was made so if these posts are super old please forgive me haha.

    1. Hey Andrew, it's not that old, but since I screwed up the formatting, I kinda lost interest in keeping it recent. But, I will because I have some mods I want to do this spring time.

So that bracket was to do two things: first to use the stock mounting holes in the fender, to mount the fender to, and second, to wrap down to the turn signals. So it does help with the LED turn signals, but also is the rear mount for the fender.

  2. Thanks for the answer! Alright so from what I am seeing it looks like it isn't actually attached to the fender but rather a brace that runs under it to support it? Do you think I would be able to mount the rear fender using only the top two bolts and forgoing the brace if I don't plan on running signals?
